Creator

Hello, my name is Natasha, and I am the creator of the Superbunny and Me programme. Superbunny and Me is a fun & engaging social skill learning programme designed for children struggling with social communication.

Being a mum is the role that holds the greatest value to me, providing unwavering support to my youngest son, being his advocate as he navigated his complex medical needs, learning difficulties and his challenges with speech, language, and communication.

My son is my superhero!!

My son is my superhero and my inspiration in creating the Superbunny and Me programme, together we have been through a lot and his journey has taught me invaluable lessons about support and perseverance. He is a true embodiment of the methods I have used to help him along the way, I provided him with active learning opportunities, patience, love and broke down those social/life skills into tiny pieces and we worked through them step by step at his own pace throughout his childhood.

It is truly remarkable to witness the progress he has made as the child who once struggled to express himself and comprehend the world around him. He is now 17 years of age, unrecognisable from his earlier years and has earned the reputation for being a polite, kind and well-adjusted young man who does not have any emotional and or behavioural problems. He has made great progress in his speech and language skills allowing him to communicate effectively and develop strong social skills. As a result, he has made many friends and enjoys interacting with others.

My qualification, my experience.

I have a BSc in Psychology and Health studying in areas such as child development, childhood disorders & neuropsychology. And I have spent years researching and developing a programme that would teach all children social skills in a fun and engaging way.

I have over 30 years' experience working with young people from teaching them martial arts to mentoring children within care homes and being a project youth worker. Understanding young people and knowing how to connect with them has always been easy for me and something I am very passionate about. I believe that children need to be given the tools to keep themselves safe and the knowledge to make good choices.

Small groups, Fun and Belonging

The best part about Superbunny and Me is, the children feel the sense of belonging. We keep our groups small, so our friendly supportive environment makes it easy for children to make new friends and feel comfortable learning social skills at a pace they can fully understand.

Social skills are vital.

Teaching our children how to communicate, cooperate, and connect with others is crucial for their development and well-being.
Social skills help them build friendships, resolve conflicts, and succeed in and out of school, and improve their mental health. So, let's encourage children to be kind, empathetic and respectful towards others giving them the space and opportunities to practise their social skills.

I am excited about the adventures of Superbunny and Me and looking forward to supporting many young lives in becoming a superhero in their personal, social, and emotional development.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Natasha Lamont.
